April 1,2004

As in past years, the April countdown to Earth Day is an attempt to get people thinking more about the natural world around them, and the problems it faces from an ever-growing population of human beings.

This year, each day will present a different web page related to some aspect of the physical Earth, with suggestions of things to ponder as we go about our daily affairs. Starting things off, take some time to visit the official Earth Day web site and learn what you can do to make a difference in your world.

Click on this link and you can find out more about Earth day events being hosted in your own community.

Become involved. Remember, no positive action is too small when we all work together to make the world a better place.
